Glock Optic Cut - Trijicon RMR/RCR

Maple Leaf seems like a very good company to me—responsible, professional, and with excellent customer communication. I sent my slide on March 10th and received it back, already processed, on April 4th. Although I'm still waiting for the scope to arrive so I can mount it, I think the cut is perfect, clean, and well done.

Furthermore, the package included a couple of screws suitable for mounting my slide. Maple Leaf also provides optic recommendations on their website that best suit the cut made according to your order.

The question is, would I use them again or recommend them? The answer is yes, I would use them again, and I will recommend them to friends who need to have their scopes cut.

I've had 3 Glock slides modified by Maple Leaf -- including optic cuts, front serrations, and porting. The milling is extremely precise and consistent, and the finishing work is excellent. Great craftsmanship all around

I'd had Maple Leaf cut a M&P2 slide years ago and they did an excellent job.

I sent in a Glock 17 slide to be milled for a Trijicon RCR and chose to have the sights forward of the optic. They did not disappoint. The cut and finish were like you'd expect from a factory made pistol. There is no visible gap in the fit of the optic to the slide.

Recently got a slide done by Ryan and he made some exceptions to do with that goes on a 43 on my 17 slide, because I'm using it as a signature series package for my business, and he also did an optic cut on another 17. They both came out amazing. I was going to try and find somewhere to do a more proprietary design, but I like the slide he did so much in keeping it as my signature series slide on my full builds. Very high quality work, and turnaround time is not bad. He did an optic cut for me in less time than his turnaround window, and the full slide he was still within the window he quoted, and he has to do extra work by engraving a banana on the side. Very high-quality work. I never leave reviews, but wanted to support him, because of the quality of work he does. Thanks, Ryan!

Perfect as expected from previous orders.

Sent in 2 Glock 45 non MOS slides to be RMR cut and the quality is top notch. They even installed the optic I sent with the slides. They even went as far as to call me to advise that my factory Glock sights wouldn’t clear the optic and gave me some options as far as suppressor height sights. I purchased the Ameriglo sights which they installed. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone for slide work. Also, I’m not sure if they do the coating in house, but if they don’t, their coating guy did a great job as well with the black nitride coating. Thanks!

I was a little hesitant about shipping my slide off to get milled, after doing some research I found maple leaf and they were relatively local to me and looked like they did great work. let me just say this cut was phenomenal, it’s so tight and fitted so good I bet you could run it without screws. I wouldn’t recommend anybody else. 10/10 will do business again!!!
