Glock Optic Cut - Trijicon RMR

Great work. This is my second Glock I’ve had done by MapleLeaf. I opted for tool black on my 45 slide. Great experience all around. I continue to recommend MapleLeaf to my coworkers. I trust their craftsmanship as both pistols are duty guns.

From now on, I'll be any potential future slide work to Maple Leaf Firearms, wow. The fit was amazing.

Beautifully done cut. Haven’t mounted yet on the G17, sent it straight to cerakote after receiving. But looks great and by the rest of the comments here I am not concerned with the fit. I know it will be tits. Thanks for your great work MapleLeaf!

I ordered this RMR cut with irons forward configuration, top sawtooth serrations, front serrations, and black nitride. All of it looks great. Everything fits snug and looks clean. The nitride is smooth and looks factory. There are no tool marks or burs anywhere. The quality is exactly what you want/expect for your prized firearm. I couldn't be happier with the fit of the RMR either. At the time of shipping my G19 slide to John, I didn't have my RMR, or he would have installed it himself, so when the slide was finished, about 2 month turnaround (in the thick of COVID chaos), he included mounting screws so I could mount it. He installed my new Irons too. He did a great job and is very reasonably priced compared to other companies. He supports LE/MIL and is a small TX company I was happy to support. As noted in other reviews, the status of my order was listed as "awaiting fulfillment" for the majority of the time it was at maple leaf. That didn't really bother me because I required a signature upon delivery, so I knew it was there. Keep in mind this is a small business with limited staff and see the FAQs for more about this. If I decide to get another slide cut, John will be doing it. Since shipping my slide to him, he has acquired additional machinery/equipment and hired more personnel to assist with his growing company operations. I believe it was only he and his wife when I originally sent the slide in... Maple Leaf Firearms is good to go.

High Praise. The original lead time was much shorter than anticipated. Upon receiving my slide back, I noticed what I thought was damage. I emailed John 20 minutes after I got it out of my mailbox (on a Saturday) and he responded within an hour. He offered to refinish my slide at no cost. I, of course, grew impatient quickly after sending my slide back, got bitchy more than once but John maintained an unmatched level of professionalism throughout the process. The finished product is top notch, I couldn’t be happier with it. It also turned out that what I thought was damage to my slide, was actually residual sharpie from the machinist. He could have easily just cleaned it and sent it back but nitrided it anyway. Thank you John and Maple Leaf!

I absolutely LOVE my G19 with the RMR cut and forward irons! Having the RMR sit lower makes it that much faster to acquire and the forward rear iron sight allows an unobstructed view of the optic window. Maple Leaf Firearms did an outstanding job and I recommend them highly. Oh, go for the valet service, too. It makes it easy and hassle free -- definitely worth it!

The workmanship on my slide was phenomenal! The Trijicon RMR fit and seated perfectly. The black nitride refinishing is flawless. The black cover plate also fits perfectly, in the event I ever need to utilize it. I would not trust one of my Duty Firearms to anyone else for this work after seeing first hand the quality and attention to detail Maple Leaf exhibits in their workmanship.....
