This Optic Cut allows you to mount a Holoson 407c/507c/508t sight directly to your M&P slide with two included #6-32 screws.
The optic cut features a precision CNC machined pocket. By design, the optical sight will fit tight within this pocket, preventing the sight from moving in any direction, ensuring your optic remains zeroed in even under the harshest conditions.
Due to the dimensions of the Holoson 407c/507c/508t optic and M&P slide itself we must eliminate the factory M&P rear iron sight. We offer the option to add a Glock style factory rear dovetail either behind or in front of the optic.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the design of the M&P slide and its drop safety mechanism, once your slide is machined for an optic you must have an optic installed for safe operation of the handgun. The optic holds the drop safety in place.

M&P Optic Cut - Holosun RMR Footprint
Outstanding slide work, optic fits perfectly. This is the second slide I've had done by Maple Leaf and I will be having any future slide work done here as well. Incredible work, good prices and really fast turnaround times. Oh, also the best packaging I've seen, everything gets back in perfect condition.

Milling for Holosun 507C
Nice work!
Crisp snap into your place with no force required.
I removed this dot from an outer gun to put on this milling job. When I took it to the range to sight it in there was one click of adjustment needed and the bui’s were spot on! -
Optic Cut
Got my M&P slide cut for the 508T. Looks good, and feels solid, though I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet. But I feel confident it will hold.

Slide review
I have no formal experience with slide mounted RDS. I chose Maple Leaf Firearms on the recommendation of someone on Instagram. I will be the first to admit I was skeptical. I've seen the videos. I've tried slide mounted optics. I understand that they are the future so I decided to give it a go. My slide was finished in Sniper Grey. I appreciate the tin included in the packaging. From the shop, fit and finish look good. I got the slide and immediately took it to ST George Utah where I participated in the 2021 Inrange TV Desert Brutality match. I brought both of my slides but chose to use the optic. Immediately I noticed that I was more effective in putting down steel targets quickly and intuitively. I believe a solid foundational base allowed this to happen as I didn't really notice myself fishing for the dot. Of 149 registered shooters, I placed 71st. The Cerakote held up, the screws were tight and I encountered no issues. I will purchase from Maple Leaf Firearms in the future.

Optic Cut for M&P
Quick turnaround and excellent workmanship. Was tired of using adapters that lifted the optic high on the slide and now have it cut in with suppressor height sights for co-witness. Couldn't be happier with the results.

Smith & Wesson Optics cut , dovetail cuts and supressor sights
This is the fourth slide I've had optics cuts made on in the last four months. The first three were on Sig P365's, this one is on a 5" Smith & Wesson M&P Pro. I had it cut for the Holosun 507C which removed the rear sight dovetail. I had a Glock style dovetail cut behind the optic and then had Maple Leaf install their tall supressor sights. As I found on the Sig Optic cuts the work is excellent Good machine work, very tight fit so the optic doesn't move. The dovetail cut wasperfect and the supressor sights are excellent. In addition I believe that Maple Leaf has great pricing compared to others I originally looked at. Also the return shipping time has been great, every slide was returned in less than three weeks, the S&W was returned in exactly 14 days. I can't say enough about the quality, pricing and turn around time at Maple Leaf and will continue to use their services.
