Add a Holosun Optic Cut as a standalone upgrade to your S&W M&P Shield.
This Optic Cut allows you to mount a 407k, 507k, EPS, or EPS Carry sight directly to your slide with two included #6-32 screws.
The cut features a precision CNC machined pocket directly in front of the S&W M&P factory rear sight dovetail. By design, the optic will fit tight within this pocket, preventing the sight from moving in any direction, ensuring your optic remains zeroed in even under the harshest conditions.
This product includes the Optic Cut only.

S&W M&P SHIELD OPTIC CUT - HOLOSUN 407K/507K
I talked to Maple Leaf to get some clarification on the prosses. They answered my questions with more info that I expected.
From shipping the slide to them and getting it shipped back took 24 days with 11 of those days were shipping.
They installed the optic on the slide so I can't comment on the machine work on the slide. The slide and optic looked good with no scratches, gaps or machining marks.
I took the assembled firearm out and shot over 150 rounds through it without and glitches.
I am very pleased with the look and fit of the slide and optic. I would defiantly recommend Maple Leaf if you are looking to get your current slide cut for an optic. -
M&P Shield Optic Cut
It wasn't easy to find a milling vendor to work on an optic cut for a gen 1 Shield with a loaded chamber indicator. Not only was I lucky enough to find Maple Leaf to perform this customization but it came out perfect. I was forewarned that a little of the chamber indicator would be visible however it acts as a viewing chamber to do a quick check to make sure the bullet has seated properly and is completely not noticeable or look out of place. The Holosun 507K fits perfectly and snuggly and I'm very pleased with the finish and installation.

I absolutely love this modification to my handgun. Would also consider having it done to my Glock 27. The workmanship from Maple Leaf is excellent.

Excellent work and customer service
This was my first time working with Maple Leaf and they did an excellent job on my slide. They communicated very well when I asked for an update and I had my slide back in a reasonable amount of time. The optic cut is very well done and they attached my 407k for me. I also had them nitride the slide and the finish looks perfect. An added bonus is they nitride over the annoying "firearm will fire without magazine" warning on the slide. Thumbs up!
