Add a Trijicon SRO Optic Cut as a standalone upgrade to your M&P slide, or in conjunction with our other slide milling options.
This Optic Cut allows you to mount a Trijicon SRO sight directly to your M&P slide with two included #6-32 screws.
The optic cut features a precision CNC machined pocket. By design, the RMR sight will fit tight within this pocket, preventing the sight from moving in any direction, ensuring your optic remains zeroed in even under the harshest conditions.
Due to the dimensions of the Trijicon RMR optic and M&P slide itself we must eliminate the factory M&P rear iron sight. We offer the option to add a Glock style factory rear dovetail either behind or in front of the optic.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the design of the M&P slide and its drop safety mechanism, once your slide is machined for an optic you must have an optic installed for safe operation of the handgun. The optic holds the drop safety in place.

M&P Optic Cut
I have had several slides milled by Maple Leaf and I am always extremely impressed with the finished product. The optic cut on my latest project, an M&P 2.0, was their best work to date. The optic cut is milled to precisely fit my RMR and the slide looks outstanding.

Optic Cut - Smith and Wesson M&P Slide
This operation was performed to mill an optic cut on my Smith and Wesson, M&P, v2.0, 5" black slide. The milled pocket was done perfectly. My Trijicon SRO sight fit nice and snug - even before inserting the mounting screws. Along with the post milling re-nitriding of my slide, the entire job went without a hitch. Took about 5 weeks between shipping and receiving the slide back. My questions were answered promptly during the process. Top-notch quality work and service.

RMR cut
Spot on perfect and fast. This was on an original M&P VTAC and wish I had also got some forward slide serrations added bit the optic cut and Cerakote are great. More business being sent his way in the future.
